Rory Voudrach
Inuvialuit born and raised in Tuktoyaktuk, Rory Voudrach is currently residing in Inuvik. Rory was always interested in creating things. As a young boy growing up in Tuk, he recalls watching elders and craftsman working on ulus and other crafts outside of their homes. Rory has never lost that curiosity and will to create.
For the last several years Rory has been making ulus and knives from traditional vintage sawblade steel, moose/caribou antler and brass. Rory usually sticks to more traditional materials and styles, however he does enjoy experimenting. Rory is thankful for all past and present Inuvialuit and Inuit for the history and skill in creating useful cutting tool like the ulu.
